The games industry is an interesting place to work. This is where I learned C++ and MFC, used vectors to calculate where to put put blood particles and in which direction they should fly, and competed with fellow programmers in competing companies about who could render more polygons per second - which meant I had to resort to write assembly language code with multi-column comments.
